Description

The "living room" (Habitat) garden Hohenfels is a 8,000 m2 large nature garden with design elements of permaculture, geomancy and feng shui. It will offer a variety of flowering and edible plants for insects and birds and shelter for hedgehogs and other small animals in the wild hedgerow. Large lawns and a branched network of paths grass give the garden its special character. The vegetable garden is created as Mandalabeet and planted in mixed culture.

With different methods of humus formation and strengthening of growth forces experimented. An unusual tea house invites you to relax and a large plant-treatment plant with pond is visible. Since 2004, a colorful cultural program with concerts, readings and exhibitions will take place in the summer months, in the romantic Willow Pavilion. Workshops and seminars on environmental and garden topics offered. The garden is a place of deceleration, which makes a salutary experience of nature possible by relaxation of body and mind.

accessibility: In the center of Hohenfels-Liggersdorf (at City Hall) to the north, towards Messkirch / Sentenhart ca, 700m continue until the local end, then right after the last house on the right side (flat scales with Aludach) turn right into the "Rösch Berg". After 500 m drive on the dirt road and you have arrived. From Stockach there is a bus or a Ruftaxi.
